TOTOT Podcast Featured on Rad Dads Podcast!

Rad Dads Edmonton is based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was founded in 2017 by Kristian Basaraba, Nigel Hood, and Braden Sustrik.  First and foremost, Rad Dads is a grassroots organization focused on creating fellowship for dads, encouraging positive parenting, and facilitating engagement within our community.  We host “dads only” meetings where we highlight a particular parenting-related theme and usually have a guest speaker to drive that home.  We also host “dads only” hangouts which are more focused on friendship, bonding, and just having fun.  Finally, we put on “Kool Kid” and “Fam Jam” events to get families together and foster community.  When it comes down to it, most of these events centre around things we love like loud music, skateboarding, and beer (not for the kids!) and typically proceeds go to local charities or groups in need.

Along with our community work, we host the Rad Dads Show, a podcast where we interview primarily musician and artist dads who inspire us, to hear about their unique experiences of parenthood.  Other local rad dads like Brett, Dallas, and Mike have joined in to facilitate those conversations, and we’ve been so lucky to have some amazing guests on our show:

“We’ve found that our listeners really take comfort in hearing that their musical idols share many of the same stresses and successes with parenting that they do.  Not to mention, our guests usually have some amazing stories to share.” - Brett
