"Rock and roll" is a term not usually linked to the industrial town of Oshawa, Ontario: About 30 minutes east of Toronto.

Summer Hero, was squeezed from the loins of rock n' roll in June 2002. Playing about 150 shows and leaving in their wake wet panties, jealous boyfriends, and people craving more.

Their sound can be described as the bastard love child from an orgy of heavy guitars, giant drums, bowel busting low-end, abrasive vocals, catchy choruses and stellar hooks.

Having shared a stage with other notable musicians such as Bif Naked, Not By Choice, Cauterize, Silverstein and Boysnightout to name a few. Summer Hero is definitely making waves amongst rock n' roll starved concert goers in every town and venue they play.

Motivated by a love for rock, a love for writing, a love for putting on an entertaining show, and most importantly a love for the party, this quintet is definitely causing a reaction amongst listeners. Summer Hero realizes that what goes into a song, might not correspond to what the listener gets out of it.

They are happy as long as everyone walks away with something on their mind after hearing what has become Summer Hero.

Their tunes are likely to cover a variety of topics such as love, letting go, giving up, fighting hard, partying hard, and being an angry young band from a dirty little town. A recipe that has whetted musical appetites en masse, and left crowds hungry for more.

Focus tracks include the guitar heavy "Tainted Hearts", "My Alibi",and "An Empty Seat"; But let’s not be bashful. Every song is likely to cause you to wish you had saved your musical virginity for Summer Hero instead of every other crappy band you’ve been listening to.
